What is a 'short URL'?

A short URL is a small and short name that you want to use with your URLSlice.com redirect. They are used to access your url redirect. An example would be urlslice.com/short_url and the 'short_url' text being a short URL.

How can I use my new URL Slice?

To use your URL Slice, simply enter in your short URL that you singed up with at the end of the urlslice.com website. So if your short URL was billybob, you would enter urlslice.com/billybob into your address bar.

What is a 'Quick URL'?

A quick URL is just like a custom URL (see below), except that you are not required to enter a short URL. A number is created for you and that is your short URL. Use it like all of the other URL Slice services.

What is a 'Custom URL'?

A custom URL is like a quick URL (see above), except that you are required to enter in a short URL. Use this if you do not want to use a numbered short URL and want to pick your own easy word to use. Use it like all of the other URL Slice services.

What is a 'Private URL'?

A private URL is just like all the other URL Slice.com services, except that to use it, you need to know the password that was used when it was created. Use a private URL if you want to restrict access to whom can use your URL Slice.

What is a 'Masked URL'?

A masked URL is one that masks your real and true website address from public view. It is exactly the same as a custom URL, except that people cannot see what your real url is from looking in the address bar..
